19th Century Blue and White Japanese Charger is a decorative plate in soft tones of blue and white doecoration of floral motiff with scalloped edge, in pristine condition.

Porcelain is translucent white ceramic body made from kaolin and petuntse (hard Paste) or another ingredient that induces translucency (soft paste) fired at high temperatures. Blue and White was very popular in the export trade marketplace.
