Venetian-Italian, 19th Century, a very rare pair of highly Carved Walnut Arm Chairs with tall arched backs with heavily carved scroll arms of resting putti and exquisite carved Blackamoor standing on pedestals. The stylized cabriole legs terminated in dolfin feet joined by "X" stretchers. The fabric is Venetian red with gold, the fabric is angora, mohair and silk in a pattern that is extinct and fit for the Royal Court. H:51" Seat H:21.5" Seat W:27".
